Community and acceptable-use rules
Newsycle supports independent reporting, vigorous disagreement and criticism of institutions. These rules concern conduct, safety and rights, not agreement with a political opinion.

The forms create private case records without publishing a personal name, direct email address or residential address.
1. Respect rights and safety
Do not threaten violence, engage in targeted harassment, expose private identifying information to cause harm, exploit children or publish non-consensual intimate material. Unlawful discriminatory abuse is prohibited.
Do not impersonate, fabricate evidence, disguise sponsorship or knowingly publish false factual claims to deceive. Distinguish allegations from findings. Strong criticism or opinion alone is not a breach.
2. Protect access and integrity
Do not misuse another account, defeat access controls, interrupt availability, introduce malicious code, harvest personal information, spam users or manipulate votes, follows, reviews and advertising metrics.
Stay within granted team permissions. Do not evade a restriction or expose private reader, buyer, seller or subscriber data. Report security concerns privately.
3. Moderation and appeal
Responses should be proportionate and may include a warning, edit request, restriction or removal. Where lawful and practical, material decisions include reasons and a review route. A report alone does not determine the facts.
Use the complaints page to report or appeal. Continuous human monitoring is not guaranteed. Contact emergency services where there is immediate danger.
