The forms create private case records without publishing a personal name, direct email address or residential address.
1. Rights and notices
Creators retain their rights subject to the limited operating licence in the terms. A link or credit does not itself authorise copying. Statutory exceptions remain available according to law.
Report the specific Newsycle URL, work or right concerned, basis of your concern, authority to act and contact information. Include relevant evidence and identify confidential material. Do not post private identity documents in comments.
2. Assessment and response
We assess sufficiently specific notices, preserve necessary records and may temporarily restrict disputed material when appropriate. We may seek a publisher response or proportionate additional information. Information is shared only as reasonably needed, subject to privacy, safety and law.
Publishers may provide evidence of permission, ownership, an exception or another legal basis. Temporary restriction is not a declaration of liability. This Australian policy does not promise an automatic US-style restoration timetable.
3. Corrections and escalation
Editorial errors use the correction process. Identify privacy, threat or confidential-source concerns explicitly so they can be handled appropriately. Knowingly false and abusive reports are prohibited.
Valid legal directions are followed. Either party may approach a competent court or regulator without completing an internal process. Use the complaints form, legal email or business correspondence address for notices.
