Newsycle policies
Marketplace operating rules
These rules explain how Newsycle separates platform operation from the seller supplying a product, and how listings, orders, disputes and enforcement are handled.

The forms create private case records without publishing a personal name, direct email address or residential address.
1. Roles and contracting parties
The checkout identifies the seller supplying the goods and the amount payable. Unless Newsycle is expressly named as seller, the buyer contracts with that seller for the product while Newsycle provides platform, order and support functions.
Sellers must provide accurate legal, contact, tax and fulfilment information. Buyers must provide accurate order and delivery information. Neither party may impersonate another person, conceal the true supplier or move a transaction off-platform to evade a restriction or fee.
2. Listings, ranking and reviews
Listings must accurately describe the product, seller, price, variant, stock position, dispatch estimate, delivery limits, material conditions and whether the offer is in stock, a pre-order or an expression of interest. Mandatory charges must not be hidden until after commitment.
Search, discovery, editorial placement and promotion can use relevance, recency, reader choices, availability, quality and paid placement signals. Paid placements are labelled and do not buy an editorial conclusion. Reviews, follows, scarcity, ratings, testimonials and engagement must not be fabricated or manipulated.
3. Payments and order records
Enabled payments are processed through the disclosed payment provider. A browser success page does not by itself prove settlement. Signed provider events and the durable order record determine payment, refund, dispute and payout states.
Newsycle may pause new checkout where seller identity, inventory, policies, provider capability or fraud controls are incomplete. A pause in new sales does not erase existing orders. Buyers must not seek duplicate reimbursement for the same loss; sellers must not submit misleading dispute evidence.
4. Fulfilment, remedies and disputes
Sellers must honour accepted orders, communicate material delays and provide remedies required by law and accepted terms. Buyers should use the order record and provide relevant evidence without sending full payment credentials. Tracking does not conclusively determine every delivery dispute.
Newsycle may facilitate communication, preserve evidence and apply platform controls but does not replace a court, tribunal, regulator or payment provider. Internal review does not remove Australian Consumer Law rights or require private arbitration.
5. Enforcement and platform integrity
Newsycle may reject, pause or remove listings and may restrict selling for safety, fraud, prohibited products, rights infringement, repeated non-fulfilment or material policy breaches. Responses should be proportionate, documented and reviewable where lawful and practical.
Existing customer obligations survive restriction. Sellers must cooperate with recalls, safety notices, refunds and lawful investigations. Newsycle can preserve records and disclose information where reasonably required by law, safety, dispute resolution or fraud prevention, subject to privacy obligations.
