Newsycle policies
Returns, refunds and cancellations
Australian Consumer Law and other non-excludable rights take priority over shop conditions and this policy. The supplier must provide the remedy required for the particular goods or service.

1. Faults and consumer guarantees
For a major product failure, applicable remedies include the consumer’s choice of refund or replacement, or compensation for reduced value when keeping the goods. Minor failures can ordinarily be repaired without charge; further remedies apply if not fixed within a reasonable time.
Discounts or made-to-order status do not remove consumer guarantees. Original packaging is not required for a faulty-goods claim. Reasonable proof of purchase can be requested. The seller cannot insist that the buyer deal only with the manufacturer.
2. Assessment and return costs
Contact the seller or Newsycle for instructions before returning an item. The operator correspondence address is not a returns warehouse; do not send products there without specific instructions.
A supplier may assess an issue. Reasonable return costs must be reimbursed when a fault is confirmed. Large, heavy or hard-to-remove faulty items require collection or reasonable transport arrangements as required by law. Any potentially chargeable no-fault collection or inspection requires a reasonable estimate in advance.
3. Change of mind, non-supply and subscriptions
Change-of-mind returns apply when offered at purchase or later agreed. They do not replace statutory fault or non-supply remedies. Material delivery delays or inability to supply require appropriate communication and remedy, not indefinite retention of payment.
Monthly membership cancellation stops future renewal without a cancellation fee. It ordinarily retains access to the end of the paid period. Service failures, misleading descriptions or material reductions can create additional cancellation, refund, price-reduction or compensation rights.
4. Refund processing and escalation
Refunds normally return to the original payment method unless another method is lawfully agreed. Store credit is not a compulsory substitute for a required refund. A request, approval, provider submission and completed refund are different states and must not be conflated.
Provide the order or membership reference and relevant evidence, never full card data. Escalate unresolved matters through the complaints page or appropriate external body. A seller cannot retroactively narrow your accepted return terms.
