Prohibited and restricted products

1. Illegal, unsafe and deceptive goods

Do not list illegal, stolen, fraudulently obtained, counterfeit, banned, recalled, unsafe or non-compliant goods; goods missing mandatory warnings or labelling; or goods designed to facilitate crime, surveillance abuse, access-control defeat or fraud.

Do not offer a product under a false seller identity, fabricated certification, misleading country of origin, fake environmental or health claim, sham closing-down sale, false scarcity claim or manipulated review.

2. Regulated and unsupported categories

Newsycle does not support weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, illicit drugs, controlled substances, prescription or controlled medicines, medical devices, therapeutic claims, tobacco, nicotine or vaping products, alcohol, gambling products, lotteries, financial investments, credit, insurance, cryptocurrency, payment instruments or cash equivalents.

Newsycle also does not support live animals, protected wildlife products, hazardous materials, surveillance equipment intended for unlawful use, adult sexual products, pornography, escort or sexual services, human remains, organs, adoption or surrogacy arrangements, event tickets, real property, vehicles, or products requiring age, professional or special licensing that Newsycle has not expressly enabled.

Dietary supplements, ingestible products, cosmetics, food, children’s products, batteries and electrical goods are unsupported unless Newsycle expressly approves the category and the seller demonstrates applicable safety, labelling and recall controls.

3. Rights, data and digital abuse

Do not list infringing copies, unauthorised merchandise, counterfeit branding, stolen designs, privacy-invasive recordings, non-consensual intimate material or products exploiting a person’s image without authority.

Personal-data lists, scraped contact details, account credentials, access tokens, malware, phishing kits, exploit tools, bot services, fake engagement, review manipulation and services intended to defeat platform or security controls are prohibited.

4. Child safety and exploitation

Any product, service or content that exploits, sexualises, traffics, endangers or facilitates abuse of a child is prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities. This includes coded or disguised listings and links to external transactions.

Children’s products must meet every applicable mandatory standard and warning requirement. A platform listing is not certification of safety.

5. Evasion and off-platform conduct

Do not disguise a prohibited product through a harmless title, variant, bundle, image, euphemism or external link. Do not move a buyer off-platform to complete a transaction that could not lawfully or permissibly occur on Newsycle.

Related conduct outside Newsycle may be considered where it directly shows that a listing or account creates a platform, buyer or safety risk.

6. Safety reports and recalls

Sellers must promptly report a safety issue, recall, regulator notice or mandatory-standard concern affecting a listed product and cooperate with customer identification, notice, collection and remedies.

Newsycle may use official recall and safety information to remove products, prevent relisting and notify affected users. Sellers remain responsible for their own statutory reports and remedies.

7. Enforcement and review

Newsycle may reject, pause or remove a listing and restrict selling while a credible safety, fraud, rights or legal concern is assessed. Serious or time-critical risk may require immediate action before notice.

Where lawful and practical, Newsycle gives the seller the reason and a review route. Provide evidence rather than relisting around a restriction. Approval or previous availability does not prevent later action when facts, law or risk change.
